A CLÁSICO

> It seemed strange when a restaurant opened its doors
19 years ago in a remote and secluded area by the train
tracks in Guadalajara. But once you dared to cross the
doors, its interior was even more surprising, and its cu-
linary sure to conquer you. The distinctive personality

of «I Latina» caught the attention of its diners and the
mouth to mouth did the rest. Until a wait list became the
norm. Frequented by a younger and more Cosmopolitan
crowd at first, others have gradually fallen in love with
the attractive character of the restaurant, with its reds,
drawings, jaguar heads and birds. This unique place was
opened by a group of businessmen and fine food lovers
for families, without expectations nor pretentions, just
the sole intention of shaking up the city a bit. Six years
later and 30 meters down the same road «Anita Li» was
born. A sort of challenge to «I Latina», from its name to the
restaurant´s experimental philosophy but with a new air.
