yachts from 20s and 30s. Its one-piece glass roof narrows
towards the rear of the vehicle, giving the automobile
a completely unique silhouette. Additionally, its front
grille is larger than any Rolls-Royce´s in recent decades.
In the rear, its «swept tail» pays homage to the clean and
sleek lines seen in racing yachts. Meanwhile, its spa-
cious and luminous cabin exhude opulence, much like
the yachts from the roaring 20s. In the early 90s, Rolls-
Royce was on the verge of bankruptcy, but BMW took it
over and turned it into a long-term project that turned
out more than ok. Its sales increased over 50%, recov-
ering the bonanza of its best years after four Phantoms,
two Ghosts and the new Wraith coupe, all made for an
exclusive clientele fascinated with English luxury.
