Ganar un Masters es uno de los retos más complica-
dos del mundo del deporte y no cabe duda de que el
torneo más especial por muchos motivos se vive en
Augusta. Reuniendo a la élite golfista una vez al año,
este campeonato se ha convertido en uno de los más
exclusivos por su carácter invitacional. Existen pocos
golfistas en el mundo que cumplan con los requisitos
que establece la organización, razón por la cual el Mas-
ters 2018 tuvo únicamente 87 participantes, y sólo los
campeones de cada torneo tienen asegurada su presen-
cia cada año.
Este 2019 al iniciar abril, el mundo entero tendrá
nuevamente los ojos puestos en el Club Nacional de
Golf de Augusta, el campo más pequeño y adorado de
los cuatro grandes torneos de golf. La exclusividad del
torneo hace que resulte especialmente difícil de con-
seguir su acceso, incluso aplicar para los boletos de las
rondas de práctica debe hacerse con casi un año de
anticipación. Sobra decir que sólo los miembros vip
de una lista de usuarios pueden obtener entradas para
el torneo. Ser socio del Augusta National Golf Club es
un privilegio del que pocos afortunados disfrutan. Es
uno de los clubes más exclusivos del mundo y tener
acceso a poder jugar una o varias rondas en él es un
lujo. Todos los campeones del Masters se convierten
automáticamente en socios honoríficos y tienen dere-
cho a lucir una chaqueta verde que así lo corrobora.
