surprise with the unexpected. spaces designed to
make us reconsider, exploring new perspectives of

number of opportunities, endless entertainment and
a constantly changing social scene in a cosmopolitan
atmosphere. However, urban life in the 21st century
poses great challenges, overpopulations is becoming a

serious problem and we must work harder every time
to get just a glimpse of the «good life» we all want. In
a world of overpopulated metropolises, access to ade-
quate housing is becoming complicated. Previous at-
tempts by architects and planners to design a solution
to this issue followed two trends: higher or farther.
However, these solutions only created new issues like
the undermining of the social fabric and a disconnec-
tion from the environment. Dealing with the concept of
privacy in an urban landscape is always an interesting
exercise, especially when there is the intention of in-
teracting with the outside world. Cities are inhabitable
only when there is connectivity and sharing space, but
what type of architecture could make this possible?
