Kino Guerin consigue que la madera parezca
tan fácil de atar como una cuerda. Siempre
en la búsqueda del equilibrio: entre la obra
de arte y el objeto de utilidad, entre la curva
y la línea recta, y finalmente, en la elección
de los materiales. Para llegar al manejo de
su delicada técnica necesitó doce años de
investigación y experimentación explorado
todos los aspectos diferentes del moldeo y la
conformación con el proceso de laminación
de la prensa de vacío. Solo así pudo superar
los límites de una manera excepcionalmente
fluida y hoy, con cada diseño de mobiliario,
Guerin crea una sensación de ligereza en sus
hermosas piezas de escultura funcional.
Utiliza una gran variedad de maderas no-
bles, como la madera de nogal, zebrawood y
Wenge, que coexisten con materiales indus-
triales como la madera contrachapada, ya sea
en pequeños muebles funcionales o en insta-
laciones dinámicas de esculturas escénicas a
gran escala.

feeling of lightness that radiates from them. He uses a wide variety of precious woods
such as walnut, zebrawood and Wenge and mixes them with industrial products such
as plywood to create small pieces of functional furniture or large-scale dynamic sculp-
ture displays. His creations are handmade and result from a perfect family dynamic as
his wife, Elyse, often participates in the manufacturing of some of his works. His careful
