Homemade Burger Patties
For when you have a hankering for a fast food burger!
INGREDIENTS METHOD
750gm beef mince (can also use
pork or chicken) In a large bowl combine mince,
breadcrumbs, egg (lightly beaten),
brown onion, garlic, Worcestershire
sauce, salt and pepper. Mix with
clean hands and shape into 6
patties.
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 brown onion
2 gloves crushed garlic
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Cover your patties with plastic
wrap and chill for a minimum of
30 minutes.
Heat a little olive oil in a non-stick fry
pan over medium-low heat and cook
the patties for around 4 minutes
each side – or until cooked to your
liking.
Now build your burger and pack
it with all of your favourite fillings.
Add a fried egg, peach and mango
chutney or bacon, yum!
