B iblion’s fifth issue is a turning point on the magazine’s editorial concept. Oftentimes called a “book catalog” (which is fine, if that means Portuguese people read more) and faced with a decline of new national releases, we begin to focus more and more on the development of our own content as to provide a pleasant and insightful reading. We have begun a series of special articles, starting with a work over twenty-pages long on the seven books of The Chronicles of Narnia, which will also be made available in a booklet format, shed- ding some light on the works that immortalized C. S. Lewis among the younger public. Coming soon is the opening day of the world’s most advanced museum – the Museum of the Bible, in Washington, D.C., and we are glad to provide you with a preview of what may well be an unforgettable (and free!) visit. We are very honored to share with our readers an exclusive interview with Brian Russell, Executive Director of YouVersion – The Bible App, showing us the most recent updates on this Godly platform used by 300 million people, and how we can make the most of it in private, at the church and especially with the youth through The Bible App for Kids. And it doesn’t end there. On top of the content development, the lack of resources and the multi-platform distribution, and spurred by an unwavering commitment, we decided to double our efforts by releasing a full version of Biblion in English. With all this, I believe we can say “YES!”. PAU L O S É R G I O G O M E S www.biblion.pt/en 3
