CUSTOM CHIPSLEEVE™ WARRANTIES
Custom Fit Warranty – covers any issues present with the garment when it is delivered.
Reduction Warranty – covers one free girth reduction for one year from the date of delivery.
Workmanship Warranty – protects against manufacturing or material defects for 12 months from the date
of delivery.
PLEASE NOTE: All warranty policies also apply to the custom OverSleeve included with each ChipSleeve™
garment.
Custom Fit Warranty
BiaCare offers a Custom Fit warranty for all custom ChipSleeve™ products. The warranty extends for 10
days from when the garment is received. This warranty allows patients to ship their garment back for a
free alteration if the garment fails to provide a therapeutic fit as determined by a therapist or authorized
care provider. If alterations or modifications are requested after the initial two week coverage period,
the Custom Fit guarantee is voided and the alteration will be applied toward the additional Reduction
Alteration policy that extends throughout the first year. To use the Custom Fit warranty, patients must
submit the Custom Fit Warranty claim form with a signature from their therapist or other care provider
verifying that the garment requires adjustment. Additionally, garments MUST be registered with BiaCare
in order to be eligible for all warranty policies. Registration can be completed at biacare.com/

Why does the Custom Fit Guarantee Only Last 10 Days?
The Custom Fit guarantee extends for 10 days from the date of delivery because patients can experience
reduction using the garment within the first several weeks of use. We do not want patients to confuse
reductions or changes in swelling due to the effectiveness of the garment with an improper fit. The Custom
Fit guarantee should help patients feel confident that BiaCare will fix any issues if their garment does not
fit correctly UPON DELIVERY. To ensure that the garment does fit properly, patients should have a therapist
evaluate the garment’s fit as soon as possible after it is delivered.
Reduction Warranty
All custom ChipSleeve™ garments are eligible for one free girth reduction for 1 year after the delivery date.
There are several important guidelines with this policy:

This policy only covers girth reductions, and BiaCare is unable to increase the size of any
Custom ChipSleeve™ products.
•
The custom OverSleeve included with the ChipSleeve™ IS included in the free girth reduction
policy and should be shipped back with the garment when it is submitted for alterations.
•
Any modifications other than a girth reduction will incur an extra charge.
Charged modifications include shortening the length of the garment.
•
Before shipping back any custom ChipSleeve™ products, you must contact BiaCare for a
return authorization number.
