Member Spotlight Debbie Riley Riley Sales 1719 Romano Drive Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 610.279.4500 www.rileysales.com [email protected] If you see red or feel blue trying to understand all the new sustainable energy options, new BIA member Debbie Riley will guide you to the right green building choices to preserve the environment – and your profits. Debbie and her associates at Riley Sales, a multi-store distributor of HVAC equipment and products in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, have worked diligently to develop their expertise in sustainable energy and to provide that knowledge as a resource to builders and developers. “No one disputes that sustainable energy is good for the environment,” Debbie explains. “But we understand that builders look at each decision with an eye on the projected ROI as well. When it’s good for the planet AND the bottom line, we have a match.” Riley Sales, a family-owned business founded by Debbie’s father in 1955, is currently managed by her brother, Michael. According to Debbie, “Michael has always been concerned about environmental issues, and has been promoting and studying energy efficient alternatives for over 25 years.” The “Riley Green Team” represents key, major manufacturers and works with them to offer training and informational programs for builders. We introduce builders to the new products and help them see how they can profit from the savings provided by sustainable energy,” Debbie explained. “Our products are primarily geared for new and retrofit residential and light commercial buildings.” It’s no surprise that Debbie has become an active member of the BIA Green Committee. She said that from the start she has been very impressed by the Association’s commitment to promote green initiatives, and that she enjoys being part of a group with a shared mission. A graduate of Syracuse University, where she majored in communications, Debbie worked in marketing and pharmaceutical sales before joining her brother in the family business two years ago. Utilizing her career experience, Debbie focuses on sales and oversees marketing for the company. While maintaining a hectic work schedule, Debbie tries to make time to work out and play with her dog, Mugsy. She also enjoys going to the movies with friends and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
