The final play of the 2026 season, What the Constitution Means to Me, is a one-woman play that examines the interpretation of the country’ s Constitution from multiple generations ' perspectives. Written by playwright Heidi Schreck, who earned her college tuition by winning Constitutional debate competitions across the United States, the play shows how four generations of women in Heidi’ s family were affected by the Constitution. Themes include women’ s rights, immigration, citizenship, and equality. The Pulitzer Prizenominated play has been described as intellectually stimulating, funny, poignant, and original. It has only 8 performances from August 9th through 15th.
