SPEARFISH CANYON
Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway features thousandfoot-high limestone palisades in a 19-mile gorge. Spearfish Creek lines the canyon floor. Bridal Veil Falls and Roughlock Falls are must-sees along the route. The canyon was the location for several scenes in“ Dances With Wolves.”
