• Accident Reporting specific to the workplace
• Up to date knowledge of current thinking and best practice in racing industry people and horse welfare
• Up to date knowledge of legal requirements
• PPE required when handling horses in challenging circumstances or environment
• Fire Prevention measures and personal responsibilities
• Recognising risk, causes and symptoms of concussion
• First Aid at Work protocols and First Aid at Work qualified persons in the workplace
• Accident response and emergency evacuation protocols
• Equine anatomy, physiology and welfare needed to assess and evaluate a horse in relation to conformation, action, condition and fitness
