As a resource for third grade educators in Ohio, I've created a set of online math assessments based on the Ohio Third Grade Math Standards. This resource can be used in both a classroom or remote setting. Google Forms was used to create the assessments due to its familiarity for many teachers. The assessments have been embedded into a resource site so that they are easy to access. This way, teachers can bookmark the site and refer to it quickly and easily. An editable link for each assessment is provided so that teachers can edit each assessment to fit their individual needs.

Within the website, teachers will find formative assessments for each individual standard, as well as a summative assessment for each strand. The summative assessments assess all the standards in each strand. The formative assessments assess each standard. These assessments have been labeled as formative because the points are strictly for teacher data, not a grade. The points would be used to find a percentage of student mastery that will help to guide instruction. The formative assessments are formatted as quizzes so that teachers can quickly see what items or concepts students missed to more easily guide instruction.

All of these assessments were personally created by myself. I used my knowledge as a third grade teacher to specially format each question so that it was developmentally appropriate yet also rigorous.

I have also included videos and online games I have found to help reinforce each standard if students struggle with that standard. The videos are from Khan Academy, I use this website often and I feel the videos do a great job explaining math concepts. The online games are from several different math websites that I use in my own classroom. They provide great opportunities for students to practice math skills.
