Matt Claxon is a BGSU alum, having graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Mathematics Education in 2007. He began his graduate education in 2012 when started the face-to-face coursework for a Master’s Degree in Classroom Technology. Matt has been teaching a variety of mathematics courses for the past 12 years at New Philadelphia High School in eastern Ohio. In addition to his teaching duties, he coaches golf and used to coach basketball too!

Shawn Kiss received his Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Mathematics Education from Ashland University in 2011. He currently teaches mathematics at Bowling Green High School, specifically Algebra 1 and Honors Geometry courses; however, he has also taught Statistics courses in the past! Not only does Shawn teach at BGHS, but he also coaches football and track there.

Kera Leskovec graduated from Mount Union University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Childhood Education. She has taught mathematics for seven years - split between the middle school and high school. Currently, she is teaching Jr. High Algebra 1, HS Algebra 1, and two ELL math courses. Outside of teaching, her biggest interest is riding horses, especially her horse Love Never Ending. She is also a 4H advisor.
