NewsELA is a service that allows teachers to differentiate instruction with the use of reading materials. With NewsELA, a teacher may search by topic from a wide variety of current news articles. Once he or she has found an article that relates to their content, the reading level may be adjusted. Depending on the article, there is a great range of reading levels available, from second grade, all the way up through twelfth.
