Screencastify- This extension allows you to easily record a screencast video. When you’re finished recording, the video will automatically be uploaded to your Google Drive so that you may share the link with anyone you wish. I use Screencastify to make video lessons for my students all of the time!
2
Read&Write Google- Is a text to speech extension that works for files and text on the web. Students can customize the extension so that it reads at the speed and in the voice that is most helpful to them. It also works as a speech to text if students have a hard time typing responses.
3
Cite This For Me- Do you remember how difficult it was when you needed to create a Works Cited page for a project? With this extension, all you need to do is click on the icon and it will generate a citation for you. You can choose between MLA, APA, Chicago, and Harvard styles.
4
DF Youtube (distraction free)- Worried about the other videos that show up when you play a video for your class? This extension hides the ads and video recommendation sidebar on YouTube and lets you focus on the video. It can be disabled, if you click “Deactivate..”
