18806 Roberts Road Hockley, Texas 77447 Change Service Requested NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION U. S. POSTAGE PAID PERMIT NO. 11163 N. HOUSTON, TEXAS Our children come from families who may struggle to provide adequate supervision, education, or even the most basic of needs. But just because many of our kids had a bad start in life does not mean it has to end that way. Students who graduate from high school in our care all have the option of continuing their education with the loving support of their Boys and Girls Country family. Each of them has their own story, but the common thread is that if it were not for Boys and Girls Country, they would not be able to even dream of a college education. In order to meet the financial needs of these students, we depend on scholarship funds that have been given to our Endowment. Currently, we have 16 named scholarship funds in the Endowment. Please consider making a gift to our scholarship fund. Please think about establishing a named fund, leaving a legacy for your family or for someone who helped you achieve your goals. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your options. I welcome the opportunity to discuss it with you. When you give to Boys and Girls Country, you are making an investment in a child’ s life. No gift is too small, and all gifts are significant. Our family is just like yours, and support is needed for clothing, food, education, and activities. Unrestricted gifts are also needed to ensure we can focus on the things our kids need most: stability and security. Donations to Boys and Girls Country can be made online through our website at www. boysandgirlscountry. org or by using the remittance envelope located in the center of the newsletter. You may also contact our Development Office at 281-290-6102. Volunteer. Boys and Girls Country could not provide the level of care our children need without the help of hundreds of volunteers each year. Volunteers are always needed to tutor, teach our children a craft or musical instrument, help with keeping our campus clean and beautiful, and much more. If you or your group is interested in volunteering with us, please contact Liz Bear at lizb @ boysandgirlscountry. org or 281-803-3135. Pray. Boys and Girls Country, founded on Christian principals, relies on your prayers for its continued success in giving kids a great foundation for life. Please keep our kids, staff, and organization in your prayers. To donate by mail, simply include and return your donation in the envelope enclosed. Board of Directors Immediate Past Chair: Matthew P.
