The 2012 season will be remembered by many
as a outstanding year for all connected with the
girls soccer team. In the championship final over
100 fans from faculty, students, and families
celebrated our victory and created a lasting
memory of our achievement. There were other
notable moments over the season and some
very special last minute goals that we cheered
wildly, but winning a championship is etched in
the school’s history.
This team embodies the BFS school spirit. No
single player is able to win a game without
the other 10 players, substitutes and coaching
staff all working together. We all share the
celebrations equally because in one way or
another, whether you scored goals, assisted
them, or stopped them, collectively we won a
championship.
Excitement now begins for 2013 and pre-season
training where the girls soccer team aim to set
new benchmarks and records to strive for.
