As castability goes , the rod was truly a blast to fish with . While it ’ s not one I ’ d recommend taking to the grass mats , it has plenty of guts for wrestling with big fish around docks , brush and scattered vegetation .
Final Thoughts
The PHXC71MHF is a great multi-purpose rod equipped with all the right goodies to satisfy even the most discerning angler . Not only is it a pleasure to fish with , it ’ s also pretty darn nice to look at , with a charcoal finish and silvery accents .
