So sentimental, really moving Book review by Natalia Stosik Rating: 5 out of 5 Title: Private Peaceful - Author: Michael Morpurgo Private Peaceful is a book where the main character is a boy who is growing up happy and then one day his whole life changes in a split second. He finds out that the girl he has loved all throughout his childhood has been secretly seeing his brother. He (Thomas), is extremely heartbroken and as a result, he rushes into joining the army for the First WW with his brother, even though he was 16 and had to be, at least, 2 years older. I am absolutely sure that you would love this book because of the fact that it has so much adventures and romance. It really is special in its own way. The book has so many cliffhangers, which makes it almost impossible to get your nose out of it and even more interesting to read. It is packed with emotions of love, happiness, heartbreak and it is thrilling and lovely in general. I recommend this to anyone who is over seven years old since it might be too emotional for little kids. An astonishing book, I have never read anything like it. It’s not comparable to other books at all! BEST BOOK EVER! – Victoria Jamieson I love this book. It is cool and exciting. The Story starts in a cool cloudy day when the queen wishes to see Imogene the main character, because the queen heard that Imogene had turn 11 years ‘old and wishes to train as a squire. The queen said that she needs courage and has to prove how. So that’s how the book title start she is going……TO MIDDLE SCHOOL! Now, will she serve middle school? And what will happen in her life? I think it is really exciting and whenever I start reading I couldn’t stop. Here I just said a little bit of the book because I don’t want to be a spoiler! If you ask me to give the book some stars than I will give it 4.7 stars. I start reading this book because one of my friends told me that this book is really good, so follow my advice!
