Monday 15th of October 2018  Dear diary,    I am still pretty speechless about what happened today, however I will try my best so that you know what  happened.  It was my first day at BFIS and I have to say that it was very interesting! I learned that BFIS is  planning to be more eco-friendly. To do so it has to save electricity, use less paper towels and much more. I think all  this is amazing and all the teachers are encouraging the students to do the same.  As well as I learned in advisory that being a friend that is good and loyal is important, also that you  should treat people how you would like to be treated. On the same lines I learned that everybody should be viewed as  equal and not to judge people too quickly because things are not always what they seem ; Also, you have to give  everyone a chance because we all deserve a chance! The teacher advised everyone to learn from this and not make  mistakes. I am certainly going to take her advice and I think everybody in my school should take this as a chance  to do something good for the environment and their community.  I also met multiple people and learned to be open minded about different cultures and that although we are  all different and unique. We all should accept everyone, regardless of where they come from.  Overall, I think this day was a huge success and I learned so many different things that my brain might  just explode! I can not wait for tomorrow!    By Natalia Stosik - Grade 6
