What does Lyme cause?
Lyme can cause many things. It can cause other
diseases such as parkinson's disease, it can also
cause neurological issues and severe arthritis. It isn
´t proven yet, but in my opinion Lyme is only the
start of other severe diseases that can eventually
lead to death. The symptoms included with lyme are
often different depending how severe your case of
lyme is. In lyme you will find yourself having
headaches, dizziness, joint pain and swelling, blurred
vision, weakness, and if you have it severe you can
get spasms, skin rashes, and severe arthritis. There
are many other symptoms depending on your type of
Lyme.
Does Lyme disease have a cure?
Many people get treated for lyme disease today and
are told that they no longer carry lyme. But Lyme
often reappears later on in life, and in some
opinions, it never really leaves you. For other people
it's easier to tell weather there case of lyme has ever
gone away; such as people with chronic lyme. When
you are diagnosed with chronic lyme it means that
your case of lyme will never fully go away/will never
be cured. Some doctors don't believe that chronic
lyme exists and when told by a patient that they have
chronic lyme they often ignore it and claim that they
have a cure anyway. This often causes patients to
think that their lyme has gone away when it should
still be treated. When you leave lyme disease alone
instead of treating it it does not get better, in fact, it
only gets worse. If you are diagnosed with lyme make
sure to get it treated immediately, then you have
more of a chance of curing it before it gets severe.
Fighting lyme
Being a carrier of lyme disease myself, I and many
other people have dedicated so much of their time to
fighting lyme. I myself had to leave school for a
certain amount of time in order to treat it. Coming
up with a cure to lyme to make it go away for good
has been very hard. Mostly because the internet as
well as doctors are not reliable; for most of them
haven't experienced it themselves. Because many
people are often given false information telling them
that lyme goes away, there hasn't been a proven cure
that has helped for everyone including myself. Lyme
lingers. If more doctors and patients knew about
this, as well as believed it, we would be a lot further
in finding a cure. With informative articles like this,
we can spread awareness throughout our country.
