Although it may be tempting to succumb to the medias ideal of perfect through methods that are unhealthy and can be potentially dangerous, it is best to get the best body that you can have through a healthy lifestyle which is not difficult to attain. By having a balance of healthy eating while consuming the right nutrients, exercising, and taking care of your mental health, everything else falls into place. It's not about being perfect or reaching an idealism, but rather being the best that you are capable of being. Especially when it comes to eating, it can be tempting to simply skip meals or opt for low calorie foods in fear of gaining weight, but the truth is that in order to change your physical appearance for the better, you need to be consuming the nutrients which are essential for growth especially in ones teenage years being iron, protein and healthy fats. We must remember that we only have one body, so we must treat it right, as it is ours for the rest of our lives. There is no point in trying to look like someone else, and wanting their legs, or their hips, or their style, but rather stay true to yourself and be the healthiest you can be, because once you have reached that, you would have attained your true potential. It can be difficult not to be influenced by the media, but you simply have to accept the fact that you will never be able to look like "that girl" while still staying true to yourself and doing so in a healthy manner.
