Beyonce Knowles was born September 4, 1981 in Houston, Texas. She rose to fame as a part of the girl group, Destiny's Child. The group disbanded in 2005 and she continued to pursue a solo career. To date, she has released five successful albums with a total of 15 million albums sold. She has also received 20 Grammy Awards. Beyonce has also ventured into the fil industry. Her filmography includes The Pink Panther, Dreamgirls, and Cadillac Records.
