Holden Village Summer 2017
Would you like to travel to Holden Village – a remote Lutheran retreat center in the Cascade Mountains of Washington – this summer ? After four years of mine remediation and a forest fire in 2015 , Holden Village will be open to summer guests again in 2017 . Registration opens January 1 , and we are considering taking a group from Bethlehem . The tentative dates are Sunday to Saturday , July 16-22 . ( At least one additional day of travel is needed on each end .)
Because of its remote location in a wilderness setting , Holden offers a unique experience that includes community meals and worship , teaching sessions , weaving , pottery , crafts , hiking , reading , socializing , and more .
It is anticipated that spots will fill up quickly so if you ’ d like to learn more , contact Pastor Kris Tostengard Michel at 612.312.3410 or kristm @ bethlehemchurch . org soon . You can learn more about Holden at holdenvillage . org .
Note : dates are subject to availability , so an alternate week might need to be chosen .
