This is part of the collaborative Mental Health Ministry with St . Joan of Arc . A light supper is served at 5:45 followed by the presentation .
PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS RETREAT Saturday , January 7 , 9 am- 2 pm Join us as we look at Compassionate Care while facing daily life . Catherine Duncan will lead the retreat at Mount Olivet Retreat Center in Farmington . All parents of children with special needs are welcome to attend . Meet at Bethlehem at 8:15 am .
CALLED TO CARE : END OF LIFE TRAINING Part 1 ( MPLS ) Thursday , January 26 , 6:30 pm This class will look at practical information about hospice and palliative care and how we can best provide emotional support and Christian companionship for church members and our own families through our ministry of presence and effective communication . Pam Gerber , Bethlehem ' s Social Worker and former Hospice and Palliative Care team member for the VA will teach this class .
