Dinner with a great view — and great live music ! Entertainment by vocalist Sheryl Lange and pianist Sharon Payne . Those who “ missed out ” last year will want to sign up for this festive evening of celebration . The lovely Terrace Room at St . Mary ’ s overlooks Lake Calhoun / Bde Maka Ska , and if the skies are clear we will view a beautiful sunset during social hour ! The event is $ 20.00 per person . Sharon ( pictured on the left ) began her musical career in second grade by attending choir school at First Lutheran of Columbia Heights . She started piano lessons the next year and continued her musical education throughout her schooling , including learning drums and the bassoon . Sharon studied classical piano at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire , while also participating in musical theater , concert choir , women ’ s chorus , and opera . Sharon has since expanded her musical repertoire to include jazz , standards , pop , and Broadway . She ’ s delighted to share the beauty and wonder of music whenever she can .
Sheryl ( pictured on the right ) has been singing since she was four , as a member of the children ’ s choir at Hope Lutheran Church . She studied musical theater at St . Cloud State University and traveled internationally performing musicals . Currently , Sheryl has been performing standards , jazz , pop , and show tunes in many venues throughout the Twin Cities . Sheryl is always grateful for opportunities to share her joy of singing .
