MISIRLOU CAFE BAR / 20 EGYPTOU
Με όνοµα εµπνευσµένο από το Misir (στα αραβικά
σηµαίνει Αίγυπτος), την ιστορία της περιοχής, το παλιό ρεµπέτικο τραγούδι και, φυσικά, τη διασκευή του
διάσηµου «Pulp Fiction», η Misirlou είναι ένα street
café bar, µε στυλ, φιλοσοφία και ατµόσφαιρα που
παραπέµπει και «ταξιδεύει» σε café bars κάποιας ευρωπαϊκής πρωτεύουσας... Στο «ροκ στενό» της πόλης,
στην Αιγύπτου, σε ένα υπέροχο διατηρητέο κτήριο
µε χαρακτηριστική διακόσµηση, τραπεζάκια στον
πεζόδροµο και έναν ατµοσφαιρικό πάνω όροφο,
η Misirlou και ο εµπνευστής της, Κωνσταντίνος Κ.,
µας υποδέχονται για τον χαλαρό απογευµατινό µας
καφέ και, όσο περνάει η ώρα, για ένα ποτό από την
εξαιρετικά καλή κάβα, µε premium ετικέτες, cocktails,
εκλεκτή λίστα κρασιών (τα περισσότερα και σε ποτήρι), 20 ετικέτες µπύρας, φυσικά παρέα µε µουσικές
από επιλεγµένους blues, jazz, buena vista, rock, indie
ήχους, χωρίς να λείπουν και live βραδιές. Καθηµερινά 12:30-όσο πάει & Σάβ.-Κυρ. 16:00-όσο πάει.
With its name being inspired by Misir (which means
Egypt in Arabic), the history of the district, the old rebetiko song and of course the remix of the famous “Pulp Fiction”, Misirlou is a street coffee bar, with style, philosophy
and atmosphere reminding and “travelling” to a coffee
bar of some European capital... At the “rock alley” of the
city, Egyptou street, in a wonderful listed building with
characteristic decoration, tables on the walkway and
an atmospheric upper floor, Misirlou and its inspirer,
Konstantinos K., welcome us for our relaxed evening
coffee, and as time goes by, for a drink from the exceptionally wonderful cellar, with premium labels, cocktails,
wonderful wine list (most of them can be served in a
glass as well), 20 beer labels, accompanied of course by
music from selected blues, jazz, buena vista, rock, indie
sounds, with live music events as well. Daily 12:30-as late
as it gets & Sat.-Sun. 16:00-as late as it gets.
