Ζωγραφίζει από τη στιγμή που «κατάλαβε» τον εαυτό της… Η Εμμανουέλα Κουμπάρου είναι για
εμάς από μόνη της πηγή έμπνευσης…
Emmanοuela Koumparou started to paint the moment she realized herself. For us she is by
herself a source of inspiration…
Πηγή έμπνευσης... Το νησί της Μυκόνου
Ευλογία γι’ αυτήν είναι… Να ζεις σε
έναν τόπο όπου ανοίγεις την πόρτα σου και
αντικρίζεις τόση ομορφιά.
Οι ζωγραφιές πάνω σε καπέλα…
Αποδεικνύουν το ανήσυχο πνεύμα και τη
διάθεση για δημιουργία. Το κάθε καπέλο το
αντιλαμβάνεται σαν λευκό καμβά που τον
μετατρέπει σε έναν πίνακα ζωγραφικής.
Η ζωγραφική είναι γι’ αυτήν... Έκφραση
των συναισθημάτων, των φόβων, των
απόψεων, αποτυπωμένα μέσα σε χρώματα και
σχέδια…. Είναι ελευθερία, είναι η ζωή η ίδια.
Ως αγιογράφος-ζωγράφος… Έχει
κάνει ήδη δύο εικαστικές εκθέσεις, ενώ έχει
αγιογραφήσει τον Άγιο Δημήτριο και τον Άγιο
Νικόλαο-Ιάκωβο.
Αγαπημένο της σημείο... Η Παραπορτιανή
στο Κάστρο, καθώς η ολόλευκη εικόνα της τής
δίνει τη δυνατότητα να… εμπνευστεί με χίλιους
τρόπους!
Source of inspiration… Mykonos Island
She considers it a blessing… to live in a land where
you can open your door and witness such beauty.
Painting on hats is… an outcome of a restless spirit
willing to create. She considers each hat as a white can-
vas which she transforms into a painting.
Painting for her is… An expression of her feelings,
fears, beliefs, pictured through colors and prints… It’s
freedom and life itself.
As a painter of holy icons… She has presented two
exhibitions while also she has painted Saint Dimitrios
and Saint Nikolaos-Iakovos.

Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα, αλλά μεγάλωσε στη Μύκονο. Απόφοιτος γνωστής σχολής σχεδίου και προοπτικής, μαθήτευσε δίπλα
στον αείμνηστο και καταξιωμένο αγιογράφο Κωνσταντίνο Ν. Γεωργιάδη. Με δύο εκθέσεις στο ενεργητικό της και έργα της να
διακοσμούν ιδιωτικές συλλογές, μεταφέρει μέσω του πινέλου της εικόνες από το περιβάλλον όπου μεγάλωσε…
Born in Athens but raised in Mykonos, Emmanοuela Koumparou is a graduate of a famous school for teaching design and
perspective, she was a student of renown painter of holy icons Konstantinos N. Georgiadis, who’s memory is long lasting. She has
presented two exhibitions and her artwork have been purchased by collectors. Her work is a reflection of the environment she has
grown up into.
Her favorite place is… Paraportiani in Kastro, as well
as its whitewashed image that gives her the opportuni-
ty to be inspired in millions of ways!
