PORTES The restaurant Portes
welcomes you this year to its
new location in Nea Chora (just
a 10-minute walk from the Old
Harbour). Its new space stands
out for its carefully chosen deco-
ration, featuring vintage wooden
doors and an impressive wine
rack nesting inside the stone wall.
Seating is available inside and
outside the restaurant as well
as on a deck on and overlooking
the quaint harbour. Everyday, the
ever smiling hostess Susanna
creates delicious recipes from the
freshest, locally sourced season-
al produce, transforming it into
a large selection of fresh salads,
delicious appetizers, wonderful
seafood and meat dishes and a
wide variety of vegan and vege-
tarian options. All accompanied
by a large selection of wines
from Cretan vineyards as well as
exceptional quality tsikoudia and
ouzo ideally complementing the
culinary experience at Portes.
