Η ίδρυσή του ξεκίνησε από τα μέλη της χορευτικής ομάδας του χωριού με σκοπό την ανάδειξη της πλούσιας παράδοσης του τόπου με λαογραφικού ενδιαφέροντος πολιτιστικά δρώμενα , από παραδοσιακούς χορούς και αναβίωση αποκριάτικων « ξεχασμένων » εθίμων την περίοδο της Αποκριάς μέχρι επισκέψεις στις « κρυμμένες » ομορφιές , όπου εκτός από τα μέλη μπορούν να συμμετέχουν και επισκέπτες .
CULTURAL ASSOCIATION The Association counts only 1 year of operation under the Chairmanship of Mr . Stathis Tountas and has already 80 members ! Its foundation was initiated by the members of the dancing team of the village aiming to give prominence to the rich heritage of the region with folklore cultural events , from traditional dances and the revival of carnival ’ s forgotten customs to visits in “ hidden ” beauties , open for participation to members and guests .

• At the famous Nick ’ s tavern in a cute little setting , which for 17 years now serves traditional dishes with a more creative cuisine twist ( T . 22340 61456 ).

• At the family tavern Griza Arkouda ( Grey Bear ) a few yards from the square you will taste in a cozy room traditional delicacies revisited with a creative and fresh look based on George ’ s recipes . Must taste the veal with chestnuts , baby goat with greens and duck with apple . Daily from 18:00 , weekends from 13:00 ( T . 22340 61277 ).
• At Platania on the square , which are famous for their delicious meat , traditional dishes and homemade stews that patrons enjoy , if the weather permits it , at tables outside under the sounds of the waterfall or else in the dining-room around the fireplace . • At the stone café Patzo , owned by Panagiotis , for coffee , drinks and rakomelo ( greek alcoholic drink with honey ). We liked the tables outside on the deck overlooking Parnassos ! Daily except Mondays .
