στην επιφάνεια τον κρυμμένο θησαυρό της, που
δεν είναι άλλος από τα διατηρητέα αρχοντικά του
19ου και του 20ου αιώνα. Με τους περιπάτους
στα Αρχοντικά δίνεται η δυνατότητα στους πο-
λίτες να ακούσουν την ιστορία της πόλης μας και
να μάθουν για την ποικιλία των αρχιτεκτονικών
ρυθμών και επιρροών της. Πρόκειται για ένα
ταξίδι στον χρόνο, με το οποίο μοιραζόμαστε
μνήμες και ιστορίες του παρελθόντος τις οποίες
κληροδοτούμε στις επόμενες γενιές». Την οργά-
νωση της δράσης είχε η Αντιδήμαρχος Δημοσίων
Σχέσεων – Εξυπηρέτησης και Φιλίας των Πολιτών,
Επιχειρηματικότητας και Πρασίνου Ασπασία (Νίνα)
Βλάχου, η οποία υποδέχθηκε τους πολίτες στο
ξενοδοχείο Παλάς που άνοιξε φιλόξενα τις πύλες
του με την συναίνεση της ιδιοκτήτριας Δήμητρας
Φιλίππου. Mε αφετηρία την Πλατεία Κεφαλαρίου,
ομάδες των είκοσι ατόμων με περιηγητές και
συνοδούς περπάτησαν κάτω από τα πανύψηλά
πλατάνια που σχηματίζουν θόλους στους Κηφι-
σιώτικους δρόμους, απολαμβάνοντας μια βόλτα
σε Αρχοντικά που συναρπάζουν με την αρχιτε-
κτονική τους και τις παραδεισένιες αυλές τους .
Στην 5η διαδρομή στον χρόνο και την ιστορία, οι
πολίτες γνώρισαν μεταξύ άλλων το ξενοδοχείο
Παλάς, την ιστορία του Ι. Ν. Μεταμορφώσεως
και του Παρεκλησσίου του, την Βίλα Κότσικα, το
Μουσείο Γουλανδρή (Έπαυλη Ρετσίνα), το σπίτι
του Φωκίωνος Νέγρη, τον Πύργο Κασσαβέτη κ.α.
Σε κάποια μάλιστα οι πολίτες είχαν την ευκαιρία να
δουν και το εσωτερικό τους. Το μαγευτικό ταξίδι
ολοκληρώθηκε στην Έπαυλη Ρετσίνα που βρίσκε-
ται το Μουσείο Φυσικής Ιστορίας Γουλανδρή. Η
εκδήλωση έκλεισε με έναν πρόγραμμα ρομαντι-
κών χορών από τις καθηγήτριες Μαρία Μπελεφά-
ντη και Εριέττα Τσουσοπούλου.
Ο Δήμος Κηφισιάς ανανεώνει το ραντεβού στην
ιστορία και τον πολιτισμό με την ανοιξιάτικη περιή-
γηση σε άλλα από τα 180 αρχοντικά της Κηφισιάς.

More than 300 residents had the chance to enjoy a journey back in time and the history
of the Municipality of Kifissia thanks to the action “The Mansions revive” organised for
the 5th time the Municipality of Kifissia, at the initiative of Mayor Giorgos Thomakos on
Saturday 23rd November 2019. This organised effort aimed to showcase the historical
and architectural wealth of our Municipality, based on the offer of the owners that open
their houses, the important contribution of the scientific team and the services of doz-
ens of volunteers that embrace the municipality's action. Mayor Giorgos Thomakos,
who walked with the residents from Kefalari to the centre of Kifissia, thanked the owners
of the mansions, the volunteers who worked for the success of the action, as well as
the individuals that participate into the action of history and culture of Kifissia. Mr
Thomakos pointed out that “Kifissia is a vivid heritage of different architectural trends
that influenced the urban landscape of our country. Over the last three years, in spring
and autumn,we bring to light its hidden treasure, the listed mansions of the 19th and the
20th century. By walking around the Mansions, the locals have the opportunity to learn
about the history of our city and the variety of its architectural styles and influences. It
is a journey into time, in which we share memories and stories of the past that we pass
on to the next generations”. The action was organised by the Deputy Mayor on Public
Relations – Service and Friendship of Residents, Entrepreneurship and Green, Aspasia
(Nina) Vlachou, who welcomed the residents in Palace hotel that opened its doors wel-
coming with the consent of owner Dimitra Filippou. With Kefalari Square as the base,
groups of twenty people with excursionists and escorts walked under the enormous
plane trees froming domes along the roads in Kifissia, enjoying a stroll around mansions
that thrill for their architecture and their heavenly yards. During the 5th trip into time
and history, the residents got to know, among others, Palace hotel, the history behind
the Holy Temple of Metamorfosi and its Chapel, Villa Kotsika, Goulandris Museum
(Villa Retsina) , the house of Fokion Negris, Kassavetis Tower, etc. In some of them, the
residents had the chance to see the interior and admire their architecture. The magnif-
icent trip finished in Villa Restina, housing Goulandris Natural History Museum. The
event was completed with a show of romantic dances from the dance teachers Maria
Belefanti and Erietta Tsousopoulou. The Municipality of Kifissia invites you to a journey
into history and culture with the spring tour in the rest of the 180 mansions of Kifissia.
