NARKISSOS. A renovated building from 1932, a
traditional restaurant from the post-war period, a
modern brasserie.
In the morning, accompany your coffee with the au-
thentic brunch, with historical dishes in their original
form from 1880s Portland with Lobster Roll, 1890s
New York with Benedict Eggs on homemade bread,
1910s Paris with a Croque Monsieur or Μadame and
omelets with the ingredients of your preference,
among other options. At noon exactly, the tradition-
al Greek cuisine reflected into the dishes of the day
will remind you of a family table, with six different
options with the taste of our childhood, while you
can also choose from its à la carte menu with salads,
appetizers, grilled meat dishes, burgers with brioche
fait maison, fresh pasta, the iconic Entrocôte of a Pa-
risian brasserie and the authentic Paella in its seafood
edition, just like it was made in the port of Valencia in
the 15th century,
The Christmas and New Year's menus are also in-
spired by tradition with Paella Valenciana Originale
with duck and rabbit, turkey with stuffing based on
a recipe from Constantinople, and Black Pork from
North Greece with prunes and chestnuts, among the
other choices.
Sweets and desserts are also available, such as the
legendary Ekmek and Kaimak Ice Cream by Kanakis
family, according to the recipes that grandmother
Kalliopi used to make in their family house at Tsesme,
being the same since the early 19th century, the frag-
ile Mille Feuille of 18th century Paris enriched with
fresh strawberries, the ethereal Pavlova of 1920s
Commonwealth, as well as other fine options.
Chef Anna Spanou Kanaki, after three years of stud-
ies in gastronomy in Paris at Le Cordon Bleu, Bleu,
Lenôtre and Ferrandi schools, creates culinary jour-
neys to places where ingredients are as important
as know-how. Kanakis family unfolded the map of
pleasure. Are you ready?
