ΑΡΧΟΝΤΙΚΑ
ΟΙΚΙΑ ΠΉΝΕΛΟΠΉΣ ΔΕΛΤΑ
Το εμβληματικό κτίσμα στη συμβολή των οδών Εμ . Μπενάκη και Στ . Δέλτα είναι ιδιαίτερης ιστορικής αξίας . Εδώ έγραψε μερικά από τα σημαντικότερα έργα της η σπουδαία Πηνελόπη Δέλτα . Το αγόρασε ο πατέρας της Εμ . Μπενάκης το 1912 και της το μεταβίβασε για να το έχει ως εξοχική κατοικία με τον σύζυγό της , Στέφανο Δέλτα . Έζησαν εδώ 25 χρόνια . Σήμερα , ανήκει στο Μουσείο Μπενάκη .
HOUSE OF PINELOPI DELTA The emblematic building located at the junction of Em . Benaki Street and St . Delta Street has a very special historic value ! Great Penelope Delta wrote some of her most famous works here . It was bought by her father Em . Benakis in 1912 and it was transferred to her so that she could use it as a holiday lodge with her husband , Stefanos Deltas . They lived there 25 years . The house belongs now to the Benaki Museum .
ΒΙΛΑ ΚΑΖΟΥΛΉ
Η πρώτη εικόνα που συναντά ο επισκέπτης στην « είσοδο » της Κηφισιάς είναι η επιβλητική Βίλα Καζούλη , με την χαρακτηριστική αρχιτεκτονική της φυσιογνωμία . Χτίστηκε το 1902 από τον Αιγυπτιώτη μεγαλοεπιχειρηματία Νικόλαο Καζούλη και φιλοξένησε κατά καιρούς διανοούμενους , κοσμοπολίτες , ακόμα και εστεμμένους . Κατά τη διάρκεια της Κατοχής ήταν φρουραρχείο των SS και στα υπόγειά της βασανίστηκαν αγωνιστές ... Στα μεταπολεμικά χρόνια γνώρισε διάφορες χρήσεις , ενώ το 1970 έγινε το « σκηνικό » της πασίγνωστης ταινίας « Υπολοχαγός Νατάσα ». Από το 1995 , έχοντας πλέον ανακηρυχθεί διατηρητέα , ανήκει στο υπουργείο Περιβάλλοντος ( Λεωφ . Κηφισίας 241 & Γρηγ . Λαμπράκη 1 ).
KAZOULI VILLA The first image that visitors see at the « entrance » of Kifissia is the magnificent Kazouli villa with its special architecture . It was built in 1902 by renowned businessman Nikolaos Kazoulis who was born in Egypt and it hosted many famous intellectuals , cosmopolitan personalities and crowned ones throughout the years . During the German occupation period it was the garrison headquarters of the SS , in whose basement many people were tortured … In the years after the war it housed the Social Insurance Institute , while in 1970 it became the « setting » of the famous Greek movie « Lieutenant Natasha ». Since 1995 -already declared « preservable » - it has been under the administration of the Ministry of Environment ( 241 Kifissias Ave . & 1 Grigoriou Labraki Str .).

KIFISSIA IS WELL KNOWN FOR ITS MANSIONS THAT STAND OUT FOR THEIR GREAT HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE
ΠΑΛΛΑΣ ΑΘΉΝΑ
Το κτήριο της Δηλιγιάννη 59 , στην Πλατεία Κεφαλαρίου , που σήμερα ανήκει στη Eurobank , ήταν κάποτε ένα από τα πιο αριστοκρατικά ξενοδοχεία της Αθήνας , το Παλλάς Αθηνά . Εγκαινιάστηκε το 1924 ( αρχικά ως Cecil ), παρουσία όλης της κοσμικής Αθήνας , ενώ φιλοξένησε προσωπικότητες όπως τον Ελευθέριο Βενιζέλο , τον Γεώργιο Παπανδρέου , τον Παναγή Τσαλδάρη , την Πηνελόπη Δέλτα , την Κατίνα Παξινού κ . ά . Καταστράφηκε στα Δεκεμβριανά , ξανάνοιξε το 1947 και έπαψε να λειτουργεί ως ξενοδοχείο τη δεκαετία του ’ 80 .
PALLAS ATHENA The building of 59 Diligianni Street at Kefalari Square that now belongs to Eurobank used to be one of the most aristocratic hotels in Athens . It was dedicated in 1924 ( under the name Cecil ) in the presence of the high society of Athens , while it has also hosted famous people such as Eleftherios Venizelos , Georgios Papandreou , Panagis Tsaldaris , Penelope Delta , Katina Paxinou etc . It was destroyed during the « December events », it reopened in 1947 and it stopped operating as a hotel in the ’ 80s .
ARAPCO GROUP
Η ναυτιλιακή εταιρεία Arapco Group είναι από το 1985 ο ιδιοκτήτης αυτού του νεοκλασικού , που έχτισε η γνωστή οικογένεια Καλλιγά το 1902 . Έχει χαρακτηριστεί διατηρητέο , ενώ ο κήπος του , εξαίρετο δείγμα τού πολύ υψηλού επιπέδου στο οποίο έφτασε η κηποτεχνία στην Κηφισιά , έχει βραβευτεί πολλές φορές από τον δήμο .
The shipping company Arapco Group is since 1985 the owner of this neoclassical building that was built by the well-known Kalligas family in 1902 . It has been characterized as preservable , while its garden , which is an exceptional example of the very high level the gardening sector has reached in Kifissia , has been awarded several times by the municipality .
