ΛΕΩΦΌΡΌΣ ΚΗΦΙΣΙΆΣ
«Λεωφόρος Κηφισίας» ή «Λεωφόρος Κηφισιάς»; Οι απόψεις διίστανται, αλλά το σίγουρο είναι ότι ο εµβληµατικός αυτός
δρόµος κουβαλάει µεγάλη ιστορία. Επί της λεωφόρου, στην «είσοδο» της Κηφισιάς, δεσπόζει η Βίλα Καζούλη, που χτίστη-
κε το 1902. Φιλοξένησε εστεµµένους, πολιτικούς και διανοούµενους. Τοπικοί θρύλοι... µιλούν για την ύπαρξη φαντασµά-
των -των αντιστασιακών που βασανίστηκαν στα υπόγειά της κατά την Κατοχή, όταν ήταν φρουραχείο των SS! Το 1964
περνάει στην ιδιοκτησία του ΙΚΆ, το 1970 γίνεται «σκηνικό» της ταινίας «Υπολοχαγός Νατάσα», ενώ σήµερα έχει χαρακτη-
ριστεί διατηρητέα και ανήκει στο υπουργείο Περιβάλλοντος.

Opinions are divided when it comes to the intonation. One thing is for sure, though. That this
emblematic street has a long history. On the avenue, right at the «entrance» of Kifissia, the Kazouli
Villa, built in 1902, looms above. It has hosted crowned ones, politicians and intellectuals. Urban
legends say that ghosts are real -the ghosts of the resistance fighters that were tortured in the base-
ments there during the Occupation, back then when it was the garrison headquarters of the SS! In
1964 it was transferred to the Social Insurance Institute, in 1970 it was turned into the setting of the
movie «Lieutenant Natassa» and now it is characterized as preservable and is under the administra-
tion of the Ministry of Environment.
