6 years ago, it first opened in Thessaloniki and stood
out for its different concept, as it introduced brunch
to the co-capital, also for the famous tasty... patent,
the delicious bougatsant (an interesting combination
of bougatsa and croissant)! And this is pretty much
how it all started… the success came straight away and
a “down slope” to Athens was just a matter of time.
It first appeared last year in the city center and this
year, for less than a month, the absolute brunch hot
spot opened its doors in the heart of Kifissia, behind
Kouvatsaki Gallery, by the same team of people in
Thessaloniki. The exquisite space with the patio on the
back and the open kitchen is ideal for communicating
Estrella’s success story… The "world street food" a phi-
losophy of the easygoing, playful menu which suggests
special comfort food dishes for breakfast, brunch and
light brunch, while you will find other special combi-
nations. You must try the burger ottoman, the savory
avocado waffle, the fluffy pancakes in various combi-
nations (red velvet ones are excellent…) and of course
the trademark, bougatsan! Equally plenty are the sug-
gestions in coffee and beverages with some of them
quite sophisticated of their own inspiration like kudu
cold brew (cold filtered coffee), greek herbs, natural
juices and home made lemonade! Daily 08:00-23:00.
