Behind the glass door of the impressive Ralli arcade, the city buzz gives its place to
the tranquility of the unexpected patio, a zen oasis with sitting corners, aromas of
lemon trees and magnolias and the Athenian blue sky as its rooftop. In this privileged
spot, reminiscent of old Athens, in walking distance from Syntagma and the Zappeion
Garden, in[n]Athens introduces itself to us over the last year as the ultimate urban
style accommodation. We felt jealous of the guests staying in its 20 rooms who were
lucky enough to enjoy this secret garden! But, fortunately, this year, it is open to the
public to enjoy here a boosting breakfast or a lovely brunch (from scrambled eggs to
eggs benedict) as well as a light lunch. All these are included in its funky international
menu, distinguished for its flavors as well as its aesthetic. Through the creative eye
of chef Alexandros Kourkoulis, familiar recipes emerge through modern techniques,
succeeding to please the most demanding palates. Some of the dishes that are hon-
ored here are delicious burgers with handmade chips (even from purple potatoes from
Peru), inspired salads such as the alternative version of a Greek salad, as well as im-
aginative open sandwiches which we can accompany with a glass of good wine from
a small but eclectic list celebrating the Greek vineyard. Daily 11:00 -17:00 lunch and
