Το μοναδικό το οποίο τόλμησε πριν από 14 χρό-
νια να σπάσει το κατεστημένο που ήθελε μόνο
το sea food να δικαιούται τραπέζια πάνω στη
θάλασσα, ο Vosporos γράφει τη δική του ιστο-
ρία ως ένα καθαρόαιμο meat grill house. Οι επι-
χειρηματίες Γιώργος Ρογδιονάκης και Πέτρος
Γεωργόπουλος ήταν οι πρώτοι που έδωσαν
elegant διάσταση στο κρέας. Σε έναν κλασάτο
χώρο υψηλής αισθητικής πάνω στον δρόμο και
κάτω στη θάλασσα με φόντο το καρτ ποσταλικό
σκηνικό με τις βαρκούλες και τα ιστιοφόρα του
Μικρολίμανου, απολαμβάνουμε στις παρεΐστι-
κες καθιστικές γωνιές του πληθωρικά ορεκτι-
κά, μεζέδες και κρεατικά με έμφαση στο σωστό
ψήσιμο, την καλύτερη πρώτη ύλη και τις αρχές
της πολίτικης παράδοσης. Τι να πει κανείς για το
πεντανόστιμο χουνκιάρ μπεγιεντί (μοσχαράκι με
πουρέ μελιτζάνας και τηγανητά πιτάκια), το αυ-
θεντικό πολίτικο σις κεμπάπ ή για το best seller
λαχματζούν, που αναδεικνύονται μέσα από μια
μεγάλη γκάμα ελληνικών κρασιών και δροσερές
μπύρες; Το τελευταίο λιθαράκι σε αυτή τη γευ-
στική εμπειρία έρχονται να βάλουν με τη σειρά
τους και τα σπιτικά γλυκά, ειδικά το λαχταριστό
κιουνεφέ, αλλά και το best seller μπουγάτσα με

The only restaurant which, 14
years ago, dared to break free
from the established perception
that tables next to the sea should
only serve seafood, Vosporos Grill
Restaurant makes its own history as
a pure meat grill house. The owners
Giorgos Rogdionakis and Petros
Georgopoulos were the first to give
elegant dimension to meat. In a classy
space of high aesthetics on the street
and next to the coast, set against a
post card view of fishing boats and
sailing boats in Mikrolimano, seated
at its friendly sitting corners, we
enjoy the prolific appetizers, meze
and meat dishes which are cooked
with the proper grilling methods, the
best ingredients and the principles of
tradition originating from Istanbul. It’s
hard to describe the delicious hunkar
begendi (beef with eggplant puree and
fried pies), the authentic shish kebab
or its best seller, the lahmacun, which
are well accompanied by a large
variety of Greek wines and cold beers.
This culinary experience culminates in
the homemade desserts, in particular
the delicious kunefe as well as the best
seller bougatsa with kaimaki cream!
