In a small but warm place with areas resembling to a house, the walk-in wine cellar stands out, where you will find specially selected wines, separated according to their varieties. The list of about 35-40 labels( Greek and foreign vineyards and many in a glass) will change every week. As for the menu, in the food and wine pairing logic, it is limited to a few dishes( cheese / sausage, brochette). Plus, Materia Prima also works as a wine cellar. In plus the small courtyard at the back, ideal for smokers, since the rest of the room is

Αυθεντικό στέκι στο Κουκάκι, που μας συστήνεται εδώ και 4 χρόνια ως « Μπάρα-καφετέρια », η ελληνική εκδοχή δηλαδή ενός τυπικού café-bar. Ιδιαίτερος χώρος που λούζεται στο φυσικό φως μέσα από τις μεγάλες τζαμαρίες, συνδυάζει τις... χάρες του παραδοσιακού καφενείου με το μοντέρνο ύφος της εποχής. Το εσωτερικό του λιτό και νεανικό, με σήμα κατατεθέν τους Blues Brothers, οι οποίοι διακρίνονται μέσα από μια επιβλητική ξύλινη κατασκευή, και όλο το σκηνικό « φωνάζει » ότι έχει φτιαχτεί με προσωπικό μεράκι και χειροποίητες λεπτομέρειες. Σ’ αυτή την αστική γειτονιά, δίπλα στο καταπράσινο παρκάκι, θα έρθετε για πρωινό, snacks, καφέ και ροφήματα, ενώ ένα μικρό bar food menu, που προτείνει κυρίως burgers, sandwiches και σαλάτες, είναι ό, τι πρέπει για ένα light lunch. Όσο για το βράδυ, ο χώρος μεταμορφώνεται και οι θαμώνες καταφτάνουν γύρω από το bar για το ποτό ή το cocktail τους, την ώρα που από τα ηχεία ακούγονται « μαύρες » μουσικές, κλασικό rock’ n’ roll κι εναλλακτικό rock. O MPAMPAS This authentic hangout at Koukaki, has been introduced to us over the past 4 years as the Greek version of a typical cafébar. A unique space filled with natural light entering through its large glass partitions, combines the best elements of a traditional coffeeshop with modern style. Its interior is frugal and youthful, with Blues Brothers, emerging from a dominating wooden construction, as its trademark. The setting has obviously been prepared
with personal care and handmade details. In this urban neighborhood, next to a small green park, we come for breakfast, snacks, coffee and hot drinks, while a small bar food menu mainly suggesting burgers, sandwiches and salads makes a great light lunch. As for the evening, the space turns into a bar gathering its regulars for drinks or for a cocktail, while playing“ dark” music, classic rock’ n’ roll and alternative rock. Daily 10:00- 02:00.
