Introduced itself to us 4 years ago, instantly
drawing out attention not only with its clever pun
with the name of the street its located on but also
with its british unique namesake cheese and its
attention to detail. Like the good wine, the Stinking
Bishop matures day after day welcoming us in
the gastronomic piazza of Loukianou Str. rather
revamped from this April. Maintaining its classy
and casual chic character but adding a few earth
bright tones, the new space, designed by Tzeni
Tsoulakou (NORMA ARCHITECTS) became further
enlarged, while the addition of an impressive bar
with decorative references to wine cabinets was
intentional to state its turn towards a more barista
character. Therefore, besides the glass walk in cellar
where more than 120 wine labels from the Greek
and international vineyard rest (20 of which are
offered by the glass), this year we also find a rich
list of premium and rare options of spirits and long
drinks (from a Nikka Taketsuru Pure malt Japanese
whisky to a Kaufman Soft Vodka or from a Reserva
de la Familia tequila to a Blue Coat Dry Gin),
available in portions of 35 ml and 70 ml…
