would like to personally welcome you to the very first edition of the Best Docs Network Magazine. To say so much has happened since we first began operations in 2010, in my opinion, would be an understatement of the year.
Now 246 episodes later, two Emmy nominations, full operations in three major cities, two new launches on the way, growth requiring two facility expansions, a completely refurbished website, and the creation of a fully staffed social media department, we feel we are just getting warmed up.
It is humbling to read a journalist describe the Best Docs Network as the“ World’ s leader in video segment production for physicians and hospitals.” It’ s also gratifying to read many emails from viewers who found the right doctor for their particular need, or read stories describing how one of our Best Docs changed their child’ s life for the good. However, with this comes an enormous sense of responsibility that we do not take lightly.
Our philosophy is simple: we produce high-quality videos designed to educate the public on medical topics and bring the doctors to life. Getting to see the doctors in action and hearing them speak about their practice can be helpful when trying to choose the Best Doc.
We don’ t just stop at the production of the videos. The next step in the process is distribution, and we feel that no one does it better than we do. Through the world of social media, the Best Docs Network videos are now being viewed thousands of times daily. The Best Docs Network programs viewership is growing weekly and in some cases has shown over 100 % growth from one quarter to the next.
Now, our newest introduction to our offering: the Best Docs Network Magazine. Each issue will feature the doctors within our network along with timely medical articles to further educate our viewers dealing with such things as losing weight, eating healthier and how to protect your family from airborne illnesses.

Be sure to catch our television shows each week on CW 33 at 10 a. m. Sundays and 5:30 a. m. Saturdays. While most of you may have seen me roaming the sidelines of Big 12 football games, and roving the stands at Texas Rangers games on Fox Sports Southwest, my biggest assignment is being President of Identity Media Services, LLC and Executive Producer of the Best Docs Network.
The idea behind the Best Docs Network started with my son. When he was five, I learned that he needed eye surgery. A list was given to me of referred physicians, so my wife and I did our research to learn as much as we could about these doctors. Unfortunately, we could find very little information online about any of these docs. However, there was one doctor who provided a video about himself. His video gave me the assurance I needed to make the right choice for my son.
The Best Docs Network was formed with this story as a basis. One of the company’ s major goals is to create high-quality and informative videos with educational content. The purpose is to help individuals and their families find the very best doctor who can help change their lives.
My time at Fox Sports allowed me to cover some very unusual stories. I embrace entertaining the audience by going beyond normal halftime interviews and injury updates. Now, with the Best Docs Network, I can take those skills one step further and help bring the best out of every physician and show how they have changed the patient’ s life.
