Editor’s Letter
Fall 2013
We bring you the second edition of
the Best Docs Network Magazine to,
once again, offer educational and valuable information about doctors and
health care providers in your area. We
achieve this with patient testimonials
and one-on-one interviews with the
doctors featured on our TV shows. Best
Docs Network is dedicated to providing
you with the latest medical procedures,
tips, and up-to-date news for modern
medicine.
Best Docs Network’s parent company, Identity Media Services, LLC, has
recently expanded its corporate office
in Las Colinas, and this is only the beginning of our ever growing operation.
We have expanded our publication circulation across Texas and you can now
find copies in the Dallas / Fort Worth,
Houston, San Antonio and Austin areas.
Along with increasing our offices and
doctor directory, we have added new
members to our Advisory Board, who
will aid you in finding the Best Docs
for you and your family. Each Advisory
Board member is noted with the BDN
Advisory Board seal.
In conjunction with our TV shows,
this issue encompasses a variety of medical topics. Men and women can experience different medical situations, therefore, I would like to introduce our Men’s
and Women’s Health features where we
focus on gender specific topics. The first
topics mentioned in this issue are gynecomastia (enlarged male breasts) for
men and endometriosis for women.
With more than one-third of the
United States population being obese,
patients may seek medical assistance to
rid of excess weight through bariatric
procedures. My Bariatric Solutions in
Dallas is not only helping patients with
bariatric surgeries, but also expanding
their patient connections with their
Lap-Band® Wagon which is designed
for portable appointments to reach
those patients unable to travel to their
offices.
Now, imagine taking the fat that is
removed from a liposuction procedure
and being able to use it later for reconstructive surgery, allowing you to avoid
putting foreign substances in your body.
Dr. David Genecov, from International
Craniofacial Center in Dallas, explains
just how you can reuse your own fat cells
through BioLife Cell Banking.
This issue also features an extended
six-page “Hospital Spotlight” on Forest
Park Medical Center. Forest Park is partnering with Best Docs Network to express the importance of raising the bar
in healthcare and maximizing patient
experiences during their stay at their
hospitals. Best Docs Network currently
features four Forest Park Medical Center TV shows every Sunday.
In closing, I would like to reiterate
the importance of having exclusive connections to the Best Docs of your area.
The “Doctor Spotlight” directory has
been expanded with not only additional Dallas / Fort Worth doctors, but also
with Houston area doctors. I’m pleased
to continuously feature world-class doctors with exceptional care.
