Dr. Preeti Malladi grew up in Richardson, Texas and completed her Bachelor’s
in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University as a Presidential Scholar. She
graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School first in her class and was awarded
the Ho Din Award, the highest award given to a graduating medical student by faculty. Dr. Malladi completed her general surgery residency at UCLA and was the Top
Chief Resident in research, received the Award for Women in Academic Medicine
from Stanford University, and pursued a Minimally Invasive surgery fellowship at
Northwestern University, Chicago.
Dr. Malladi is a board-certified, fellowship-trained minimally invasive bariatric
and general surgeon who is dedicated to personalizing patient care for outstand
