Making Your Aesthetic Goals a Reality
Dr. Robert D. Wilcox is the founder and director of the Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Center
of Texas, an 11,000 square-foot state-of-the-art
facility. The Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Center
of Texas is one of few facilities to be state-certified in the state of Texas.
“Because the facility was built specifically for
plastic surgery, there are certain benefits that
my patients enjoy,” says Dr. Wilcox. “Our freestanding location is easy for patients to find and
has plenty of available parking. Private entrances maximize confidentiality, particularly after

privacy and modesty. We also provide a comfortable waiting room for our patients’ families.”
Dr. Wilcox has over 20 years of experience in
the Dallas area, where he has treated more than
20,000 patients locally and worldwide, including in six continents.
Dr. Wilcox specializes in all aspects of plastic and cosmetic surgery. He is board certified
in three specialty areas: plastic surgery, general
surgery, and hand and microsurgery. However,
liposuction and body contouring are among his
most popular procedures. Liposuction is not
usually intended as a weight-loss technique, but
this procedure is commonly used to remove fatty areas for body contouring and sculpting after
weight loss.
Dr. Wilcox also recognizes that every woman has an internal view of their self-image. A
woman’s breasts are defining features of her
body. Some women seek surgery as an option in
achieving an aesthetically pleasing appearance
to the chest.
Augmentation mammoplasty, or breast augmentation, is a surgical procedure designed to

enhance breast size and shape. Dr. Wilcox thoroughly discusses with his patients their options
for the right implants, including the choice
between saline and silicone gel breast implants
and the options available for incision location
and placement type.
Dr. Wilcox also developed a new technique
to treat enlarged male breasts, or gynecomastia,
with a procedure that requires no incisions or
scars on the chest, nor does it require the use of
