8. Monterey Rock and Rod Festival
June 23-24. This two-location festival features muscle cars, hot rods, street racing cars, and all the classics from 1975 and earlier. Event will take place at Monterey Fairgrounds and Custom House.
9. California Rodeo Salinas at the Salinas Sports Complex
July 20-23. Combining both world renowned rodeo stars and an actual carnival with midway rides for the kids, this rodeo promises full entertainment for the entire weekend. Complete with food, entertainment, and things to do.
10. Carmel Bach Festival at the Sunset Center in Carmel-by-the-Sea
July 15-29. The works and ideas of legendary composer, Johann Sebastian Bach, are discussed, featured, and performed at the Carmel Bach Festival. Bring all of the music lovers in your family, no matter what their musical taste, and soak up the rich atmosphere.
