At the core of all our work at Berry Street is the importance of relationships – developing and maintaining trusting and productive relationships with our clients , respectful relationships with our colleagues and mutually beneficial relationships with our supporters .
This means that we are constantly reviewing how we can improve our recruitment , induction , support , supervision and professional development of our large and diverse workforce . Jackie Mead , Director People , Culture and Information Systems , continued her great leadership of this area and also took on responsibility for Information Management .
To ensure our clients receive the best possible service , we invest heavily in the professional development of our staff . Our five person Learning and Development team now includes dedicated support and resources for students who want to do a tertiary placement with us and hopefully join us when they are qualified .
