I have been reading through a book called
Vitamin N by Richard Lourv, which encourages
parents to get out in nature more and experience
the beauty, the sights and sounds of it. During
the warm weather in February, I was really able
to take advantage of this. My boys and I went out
picking loquats; walking through the railway trails; seeing the cherry
and avocado trees blossom and know that Spring was in the air. We even
managed to start a vegetable garden!
In our Winter issue we featured a young boy
named Connor who was growing his hair in honor
of his father who was suffering from cancer.
Connor will be participating in the St. Baldrick’s
day event. Unfortunately, Connor’s father passed
away in December, unable to see him complete
his fundraiser but we want to honor Connor here
and share the link and Facebook page that you
might wish to donate to this worthy cause. If you missed
this article visit our website www.mybermudaparent.com to review our
previous articles.

Overall, I want to encourage you to get out in nature and with
your children and get some Vitamin N make it memorable life is short.
