EDITOR'S LETTER

"Light breeze, colorful leaves, bare trees, it must be Autumn".

There's no doubt about it, I'm a Fall kinda' girl! I love the cool air and the smell of spices - bringing back memories from my days as a child. .

Don't get me wrong. I love Summer days, going to the beach, family barbecues, wearing shorts and sandals, but being able to not feel drained as you wake up in the Summer humidity makes Fall ever so sweet. However, I have to say - there's nothing like going to the Bermudaful beaches at any hour of the day without the water ever feeling too cold.

Fall is often the time we turn to our homes, to get ready for the seasons to come. We have vacation off the brain and we begin to prepare for a busy work season, school season and the year to come. Whether you need help in the transistion of a new school year or a look into the current trends of Fall, we've got you covered.

On page 22, we share St Johns Ambulance Brigade story on how they care and assist the community through first aid services. Please donate, volunteer and support this charity today.

We also include a feature on The Bermuda Gombeys and how their history impact todays culture on the island. "They are colourful, lively and rhythmic – the essence of an entertainer." This year the Gombey Festival will be held on Saturday, 12th September at W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium.
