Outdoor sculpture shows dot our Berkshire landscape as art and nature continue to inspire us . SculptureNow is presenting works by 30 artists on the grounds of The Mount in Lenox . Chesterwood holds an opening reception July 9 , Tipping the Balance : Contemporary Sculpture by John Van Alstine ( more on page 18 ). The Norman Rockwell Museum opens its Land of Enchantment : A Fantastical Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition on July 10 . A “ Field Day ” outdoor sculpture show in a five-acre field on Route 57 to benefit the Sandisfield Arts Center begins July 3 . At Berkshire Botanical Garden , Taking Flight brings together works by prominent artists to the gardens and garden rooms . And the North Bennington Outdoor Sculpture Show is being held throughout North Bennington and on the campus of Bennington Museum . MUSIC TO OUR EARS

Cellist Yo-Yo Ma and pianist Emanuel Ax have joined talents to present a live , in-person benefit concert for Greenagers on July 7 at 6 p . m . outdoors under a tent at the April Hill Conservation Center . Seating is limited to 222 , and an outdoor reception follows for top-tier ticket holders . The event includes a conversation between the musicians and Greenagers executive director Will Conklin . Berkshire-based Greenagers engages teens and young adults in meaningful work in environmental conservation , sustainable farming , and natural resource management . greenagers . org

Jeff Tweedy takes the stage , joined by Wilco bandmate Nels Cline , for a concert July 17 benefiting MASS MoCA ’ s Joe Thompson “ Yes ” Fund . Proceeds go to support the museum ’ s mission to champion artists and art-making in all forms . As Tweedy says of MASS MoCA ’ s founding director Joe Thompson , who departs after 33 years at the helm : “ Joe ’ s involvement over the years has had a massive influence on the dreamy wonderland we ’ ve all come to know as Solid Sound Festival .” massmoca . org

Frelinghuysen Morris House & Studio opens July 8 with a new exhibit , “ Suzy Frelinghuysen : Painter & Opera Singer — Influences of Cubism & Music in her Art ,” displaying not only her paintings and the master Cubist collection that inspired her , but also her restored opera costumes from the 1940s . On July 11 , they will celebrate the reopening with a Members Party at 4 p . m . on the patio outside the living room . Pianist Amy Renak and mezzo soprano Marjorie Dix will have a short program from Suzy ’ s opera repertoire . Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health is taking reservations as it plans to reopen August 19 .
