New Year’ s Eve
The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires hosts Celebrate Chanukah at Night- Wood, a community event at The Mount in Lenox( see listing above). New Year’ s Eve
While many of us have created our own New Year’ s Eve tradition, from dinner at a favorite restaurant to staying home with friends, the Berkshires offers other options. Maybe this is the year to try something different!
New Year’ s Eve Ball Drop in North Adams is a free family-friendly event and early enough, 8 to 9 p. m., to make your other New Year’ s Eve gatherings. It takes place at the Center Street parking lot, against the backdrop of downtown businesses lit up with winter displays by local artists.
New Year’ s Eve at Jiminy Peak in Hancock is an annual celebration with fireworks, live music and a parade. Details and tickets are at jiminypeak. com.
The third annual Bousquet NYE Party starts at 9 p. m. with a live DJ and dancing in the lounge, hors d’ oeuvres, and champagne toast at midnight. Tickets can be purchased at bousquetmountain. com.
Back by popular demand for the third year, New Year’ s Eve with Max Creek at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield engages audiences with joy and passion as they play everything from soulful ballads to deep jams, starting at 8:30 p. m. Find ticket information at berkshiretheatregroup. org.
